Up on to the bus, greeting the bus captain with a smile and making my way to an empty seat at the back of the bus. I don't ever jack my ears with blasting music in an attempt to shut myself off from the world, instead i'll just observe everyone and everything around me.
The changing scenery outside, the different people boarding and alighting the bus. All these faces, they each have a story to tell. All these places, they all have a history. Quite often, I drift off into my world of thoughts..
I guess its moments like these when we take a moment to observe the world around us that we actually realize certain things that might never have crossed our minds. Sometimes we may even end up appreciating things and people just a little bit more.
I like long bus rides. Just sitting, observing and thinking. One day soon, i'm going to take an entire day off my everyday life and just get lost on a long bus ride adventure to nowhere. That'll be cool. Maybe even special.. someday with her beside me.

Sitting in the bus for a long journey, especially not during peak hours is a relaxing journey.What you say is so true. We people are so busy that we dont even take time to observe things around us. Only when we reached the desperate end, then we start observing and finally open our eyes to our surroundings.
I think your post reminded people that they have a life, and not a life that is live in a box. Its time to open the box again and find back the wonders of life.

You are utmost welcome. I like this post because sitting on the bus for a long journey and reflecting various stuffs is what i do almost everyday. And finally someone who know the joy of it. Cause mostly people i know usually complain of the long journey, instead of appreciating it.
